Rokopol® FS3640 is a polyether polyol in the form of white, opaque liquid. The product contains BHT free antioxidants and is marked by high purity and low emission. The product hydroxyl value is in the range of 25.0 – 30.0 mg KOH/g with dynamic viscosity of 4000 – 6000 mPas at the temperature of 25°C.

Rokopol® FS3640 may be used for production of highly flexible polyurethane foams in the continuous (slabstock) or periodical (batch) manufacturing system. By means of this polyol reactive polymeric polyols and an appropriate selection of additives, (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents) hardened flexible slabstock foams with the rectangular section and the height up to 120 cm can be manufactured. Based on its excellent parameters the product may be widely used in the furniture industry.

Main application advantages of Rokopol® FS3640:

  • Possibility of producing foams with density from 20 to 80 kg/m3, hardness range of 5 – 12kPa, and flexibility of ca. 30%;
  • The use of the product enables manufacturing foam with the breaking strength above 40 and the relative tensile strength above 40%;
  • Product may be used with other polymeric polyols in order to, e.g. increase or reduce the foam hardness.

Most frequent applications of Rokopol® FS3640:

  • Used for production of flexible foams with increased hardness;
  • The polyol is used in the construction industry for production of matrasses and cushions;
  • Used in production of comfort furniture where increased foam hardness is required;

Products made based on Rokopol® FS3640: are of very high quality. Based on the optimally developed manufacturing process this polyol is distinguished by very good parameters and a wide range of possible applications.
