Description

Rokopol LDB4000D is a specialized high molecular weight diol (PPG), used for the production of 1K and 2K adhesives and other polyurethane materials in reaction with isocyanate. The product is in the form of a homogeneous clear liquid containing antioxidants (excluding BHT). It retains viscosity about 1000-1400 mPas at 25°C with high functionality f ~ 2 and hydroxyl value 26-29 mgKOH / g.

Rokopol LDB4000D is a product characterized by low content of metal ions. Due to its structure and properties, the product can be used for the production of 1K and 2K adhesives as well as sealants, elastomers and PUR polyurethane coatings. Rokopol LDB4000D is a diol with low reactivity, very low content of metal ions which positively affects the stability of produced prepolymers. The antioxidant used in the product ensures that it can be considered for the production of food contact materials.

The main application advantages of Rokopol LDB4000D:

  • the possibility of using in a wide range of applications,
  • low content of metal ions,
  • excellent adhesion to the substrate, flexibility and chemical resistance,
  • high stability of prepolymers manufactured on the basis of the product.

The most common applications of Rokopol LDB4000D:

  • prepolymers, adhesives and modified MDIs,
  • two-component polyurethane sealants with different hardness and high hydrolytic resistance,
  •  production of specialized rigid PUR foams.

Products made on the basis of Rokopol LDB4000D are of the highest quality. Thanks to the refined production process, this polyol has excellent parameters in each application.

Properties and applications:

  •  used for the production of adhesives, elastomers and specialist PUR foams
  • very high quality of the final product due to the physicochemical properties of the polyol
  • low content of metal ions
  • manufactured products are characterized by excellent stability of prepolymers
  • used for the production of printing inks
  • the product can be used in the food industry
