Rokopol® LDB8000D is a special purpose high molecular weight diol (PPG) used for production of siliconized polyetherols. The product has a form of a homogenous, clear liquid, containing BHT free antioxidants. It maintains low viscosity of ca. 2300 – 3000mPas at 25°C, with high functionality of f~2, and the hydroxyl value of 13 – 15mgKOH/g.
Rokopol® LDB8000D is a product marked by low degree of unsaturation and low volatile organic compounds (VOC). Based on its structure and parameters this product may be used for production of siliconized polyetherols designed for adhesives, sealants, special one component foams and foaming glues applications. Equally significant applications include polyurethanes for production of printing inks for food contact. Main application advantages of Rokopol® LDB8000D:
