Description

Rokopol® LDB8000D is a special purpose high molecular weight diol (PPG) used for production of siliconized polyetherols. The product has a form of a homogenous, clear liquid, containing BHT free antioxidants. It maintains low viscosity of ca. 2300 – 3000mPas at 25°C, with high functionality of f~2, and the hydroxyl value of 13 – 15mgKOH/g.

Rokopol® LDB8000D is a product marked by low degree of unsaturation and low volatile organic compounds (VOC). Based on its structure and parameters this product may be used for production of siliconized polyetherols designed for adhesives, sealants, special one component foams and foaming glues applications. Equally significant applications include polyurethanes for production of printing inks for food contact.

Main application advantages of Rokopol® LDB8000D:

  • Wide application range possibility;
  • Marked by low degree of unsaturation and low VOC;
  • Very good adhesion to the substrate, flexibility and chemical resistance;

Most frequent applications of Rokopol® LDB8000D:

  • Product used for production of polyurethane printing inks;
  • Adhesives and polyurethane sealants;
  • Polyol used for production of special one component foams (OCF) and foaming glues;

Products made based on Rokopol® LDB8000D are of very high quality. Based on the optimally developed manufacturing process this polyol is distinguished by very good parameters, in each of the applications.

Properties and applications:

  • Product used for production of adhesives, elastomers and special purpose OCF foams;
  • Very high quality of the end product based on the physicochemical properties of the polyol;
  • Marked by low degree of unsaturation and low volatile organic compounds (VOC);
  • Used for production of printing inks;
  • Product may be used in the food industry;
