Description
Rokopol M1170 is a polyether polyol, a block/statistical copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide based on glycerine. The product is in the form of a free of mechanical impurities liquid and contains antioxidants (excluding BHT). Rokopol M1170 is characterized by high purity and low emission. It has a hydroxyl value in the range of 31-36 mg KOH/g, and its dynamic viscosity is in the range of 1250-1550 mPas at 25°C. Rokopol M1170 can be used for the production of highly flexible polyurethane foams with a continuous system (slabstock), batch production or moulded foam production (moulding). Using polyol and appropriately selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents) it is possible to produce blocks of super elastic foam with a rectangular cross-section and height of up to 120 cm. Thanks to its excellent parameters, the product can be widely used in the furniture, automotive and acoustic insulation industries. The main application advantages of Rokopol M1170: possibility of producing foams with densities from 20 to 80 kg / m3 at hardness range from 0.6 – 3kPa and elasticity above 40%, application of the product ensures the production of foam with tensile strength above 40kPa and elongation at break above 200%, in combination with vTec series polyols, it can be used for the production of viscoelastic foams, products based on Rokopol 1170 are characterized by a very high support factor, wide range of density and high resistance to “scorch” The most common applications of Rokopol M1170: production of flexible foams of increased quality, soft & hypersoft foams and gel foams, in the furniture industry: production of mattresses and pillows with an increased support factor, production of car seats in the automotive industry, the polyol can be used in combination with Rokopol F3600 to reduce the hardness of standard foam or super soft foams, product used for the production of HR foams, thermoplastic foams and as a cell-opener. Products made on the basis of Rokopol M1170 are characterized by very high quality. Thanks to the refined production process, the product is characterized by excellent parameters and a wide range of possible applications.
