Description
Rokopol MS5240 is a polyether polyol in the form of a white, opaque liquid. The product contains antioxidants (excluding BHT) and is characterized by high purity and low emission. The product has a hydroxyl value in the range of 20.0-23.0 mgKOH / g and has a dynamic viscosity in the range of 4000-8000 mPas at 25 ° C . Rokopol® MS5240 may be used for production of highly flexible polyurethane foams in the continuous (slabstock) or periodical (batch) manufacturing systems, as well as for foam moulding production. By means of this polyol and an appropriate selection of additives, (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), it is possible to produce blocks of highly flexible slabstock foam with the rectangular section and the height up to 100 cm can be produced. Based on its excellent parameters the product may be widely used in the furniture and automotive industries. Main application advantages of Rokopol® MS5240: Possibility of producing foams with density from 25 to 80 kg/m³, hardness range of 5 – and flexibility up to 35%; The use of the product enables manufacturing foam with the breaking strength above 50kPa and the relative tensile strength above 50%; Possibility of using the polyol with reactive polymeric polyols in order to: eliminate the cold-flow effect, increase the slab height, modify the foam hardness, as well as to optimize the foam cell openness; Most frequent applications of Rokopol® MS5240: Used for production of flexible foams of increased quality The polyol is used in the furniture industry for production mattresses and cushions; The product is used in the automotive industry for production of car seats, as the comfort material; Products made based on Rokopol® MS5240: are of excellent quality.
